Slowpoke Figures and Stamps!

They're tiny! They're teeny! They're colorful!
Slowpoke figures are pretty difficult to come by. While the Full Color Stadium figures are pretty common, there are a few others you have to get lucky to find.

MIB Tomy Slowpoke

Picture
Origin: Japan

Okay so I bought this on e-Bay for a steal, since the seller had a stock photo up of a Slowpoke with a plain pink tail. I suspected a bootleg, and was prepared for it.
What I got was an official Japanese Slowpoke in his box! But he had a white-tipped tail. I called the seller out and was like "what is this" and I may have gotten a refund but I don't remember.

Then my dog found it and decided the box would make a great chew toy. The figure inside is fine, but the outside...

Tomy Slowpoke and Chinese bootleg (1998-ish for the official, who knows for the boot)

Picture
Origin: US and China

The Tomy was one of my first couple of figures way back in the day. I've lost a few since then, but Slowpoke's been with me since the beginning. Now I've got a MIB Japanese one, and my old American one.

The bootleg is a more recent addition, and I actually think he's one of the better boots I've seen. All Slowpoke boots seem to have a limp-tail problem, though...
And he kinda smells.

Slowpoke line 1/40 scale Zukan (2010)

Picture
Origin: Japan

FINALLY.

AGES I WAITED FOR THIS

AGES.

Why did it take so long to get to the Slows, man?

The special thing about Zukan is that all Zukan are to scale with each other. I have a couple other ones, and compared to them, Slowpoke and crew are HUGE. I really love the poses and how they sculpted everything. WORTH THE WAIT.

Burger King launcher (2000)

Picture
Origin: US

Ahahaha okay so back when the first movie was released, Burger King got in on the Pokémon craze action.

So they released a BUNCH of Pokémon as kid's meal toys, and everyone rejoiced.

Slowpoke defies his name and got himself a launcher, and proves that he is actually Speedpoke.

Dome Figure

Picture
Origin: Japan

This is the only figure I've seen with Slowpoke in this pose! It's really cute, and I think I may start collecting ones with different colored bottoms, as well.

Slowpoke Squish figure

Picture
Origin: Japan, I think

I got him inside of his container, and inside his container he will stay!

The little poke is different from most Slowpoke, in that he will stick to everything he touches. He's fun to squish, but will attract and trap dust like none other.

squish!

Mini-Diorama Beach Scene

Picture
Origin: Japan

I'll change the name once I remember what the series is called.

But there were like 7 boxes released in the set, and when put together creates a beach scene. I also have the sunbathing Squirtle from the set, and know that there's Pikachu, Meowth, Seel, and Farfetch'd boxes as well.

I personally like Slowpoke's best. Look at that cloud action!

In-Case Figure Collection

Picture
Origin: Japan

It's Slowpoke in a box. He's quite tiny.

Slowbro PuraCoro Battle Dice

Picture
Origin: Japan

Ahhh, this was such a disappointment.

I bought the whole damn set hoping that Slowbro would be in color like he's shown all over the box. I was also hoping that I would get one or two little dice, but no. Instead I got one very purple Slowbro and a bunch of other gear that I don't really care about. Apparently you have a chance of getting one of four different expressions.

Mini Purakoro Battle Dice (プラコロサイコロバトル)

Picture
Origin: Japan

From that one game. The one with the dice.

This is obscenely tiny.

I think there are supposed to be other dice with different positions/expressions, but these are so ginormously hard to come by I have no idea. The bigger ones do for sure, but I don't know about the little ones.

Modern Slowpoke Metal Collection (2010)

Picture
Origin: Japan

Friggin' Keshipoke are hard to come by. Thankfully, they seemed to have made another mold of Slowpoke to sell, which makes me happy. Since the modern ones only have three colors (bronze, silver, and gold), I can safely say I have them all!

Full Color Stadium Figures

Picture
Origin: Japan

Slowpoke needs more FCS figures.

EDIT: Clear Slowpoke is a Battle Museum figure. I has a dum and they look so much alike and I never had his little base.

Mini Pokemodels

Picture
Origin: Japan

Also more playset figures. I figured out what they're called!

These are smaller than the FCS figures, which makes them quite small indeed!

Slowpoke Minimodels

Picture
Origin: Japan

I do love me some mini models.

I won't stop collecting these ever. It's just fun collecting all kinds of weird colors, and I accumulated more than I thought I would have, considering how uncommon Slowpoke tends to be in minimodel lots!

dynamic angle?!

More Minimodels!

Picture
Origin: Japan

Look look! Rare gold version!
I checked to see if a silver one exists, but alas. :(

Old Slowpoke Kids Regular and Clear (1997)

Picture
Origin: Japan
They're a bit old. But cute nonetheless!

Slowpoke Kid Re-release (2006)

Picture
Origin: Japan

I guess they decided to make him pinker and make his clear version a lot harder to find?

This came out with the release of the FR and LG refresh games. Still good games.

Roller-stamper

Picture
Origin: Japan

It is the cutest goddamn stamper you will ever find, ever.

In other news, I just realized that it is sharing the same pose as my dome figure! Crazy.

Pocket Monsters Rubber Stamp

Picture
Origin: Japan

I am very proud of this find! I hear that this is from a very, very rare series of stamps, though I need to find the exact year they were released and the maker.

Yay Slowpoke stamps!

Tiny Character Stamp (Roseart?)

Picture
Origin: US/UK

It is very very small and very very common.

Mini Stamper

Picture
Origin: Japan

I think this one came with different colored bases as well? I don't even see this enough to know for sure.

It's kinda rare, and has a generic stock pose stamper.

Other confirmed base colors: pink, aqua/green

151 Stampers

Picture
Origin: Japan

All the original 151 got their own stamper, so here's Slowpoke and Slowbro!

These are unique in that these AREN'T self-inking.

Slowbro Minimodels!

Picture
Origin: Japan

I decided to collect some bros as well!
Rare silver little bro! I checked to see if a gold version exists, but alas. :(

The colored one is NOT a mini model! He is actually an in-case figure without his case, and I thought I'd just cram him in there. But he is NOT a mini model!

Slowdudes Mini Models

Picture
Origin: Japan

Haha, learn some of my lingo.

Slowdudes are what I call Shellder-less Slowbro. They seem to be stuck in limbo between Slowpoke and Slowbro. Thus, Slowdude!

Crazy Big Slowbro Mini Models

Picture
Origin: Japan

I have no idea what the silver Slowbro is from, but there seem to be a lot of silver figures floating around. This one can actually come apart! His tail falls off and Shellder is removable. Ohh how exciting. Evolution right in front of my eyes?!
I have my suspicions that both of these are part of the Jumbo Mini Model group. They're the ones that can come apart.

Orange Slowdude is Shellder-less, sadly. I don't know if he ever came with one, but I bet he did, since he's the exact same mold as the silver one.

Glittery Jumbo Mini Model

Picture
Origin: Japan

Now in Disco edition!

I really wish he would stop losing his Shellder :(

Clear Tomy Bootleg

Picture
Origin: China

Did Slowbro even get a clear Tomy? I don't even know. But China thought he should have one, so here it is!

Slowbro Eraser

Picture
Origin: Japan (?)

Note to self: Pink on pink was a bad idea.

This is the cutest goddang eraser. Now all I need is the Slowpoke one!

Full Color Stadium Slowbro + King

Picture
Origin: Japan

The less loved ones gotta stick together.

Though Slowbro is the only FCS figures I have that actually have their base.

EDIT: Clear Slowking is a Battle Museum figure! I got him without his base, and I just found an official picture with him on a BM base. Oops. He looks so much like the FCS, though.

A neat double-ended stamp (2000-ish) and Slowbro Retsuden stamp

Picture
Origin: Japan

Thanks to Caffwin, I have a stamp that I LIKE that has Slowking on it! And as a bonus, there's a hidden Slowpoke on the other end! Oh, the perfect stamp, I say!

And augh, I do love my Slowbro Retsuden, but I need Slowpoke too!
