Slowpoke Plush!

Since 1997, Slowpoke has been fortunate enough to get some of his own plush! Although they are far and few between, they are still adorable. I hope they will make more in the future! Or at least give him his own Pokédoll..!

FINALLY YOU ARE MINE. I waited a long time for this guy! He is by far the rarest Slowpoke I know of, and I managed to get mine in GREAT condition! He doesn't have his tag, but it's no big loss. This is the only Slowpoke (that I am aware of) that is made to be fuzzy! He is the cutest damned thing!

His name is Carlton, because when I won him, the only way I could properly express how happy I was was through Carlton's dance.

GO CARLTON
I also feel it's worth mentioning that with Carlton, I now own every single Slowpoke plush that exists. Kinda sad that it ends with 10, but maybe there are others that I don't know about yet!

I've seen a couple of these pop up over the years, and always for a bargain. I snapped one up early in my collection, and he is easily one of my favorite plush! Look at those ears! I think they did the best job on his mouth with this one.
He easily captures all that is Slowpoke.

Ballpoke #1

Probably one of the more common Slowpoke plush, this one can unzip and fold itself inside out to become a Pokéball. Man, talk about brutal.
I'm lucky to own one that still has the Pokéball button, actually. Mines threatening to come off, but at least I have it!

Ballpoke #2

Less common than #1, or often overlooked since it looks so much like it's brother. The key difference is the fabric attached to the zipper! It took me a while to find this one, but I got it for cheap! I wasn't lucky enough to get one with the button in tact, though.

Applause Battle Playset Plush

Haha, I managed to get two of these! I snagged one up for myself, and then my roommate bought me one as a present. Released as part of a battle playset in the UK (Did the US get these at all? I don't recall.), they're pretty durpy-looking. But since Slowpoke is durpy-looking already, it suits him fine!
These are neat because Applause added shiny parts to all their Battle plush, and Slowpoke's is on the tip of his tail and on his toes!

This. Is. the ugliest Slowpoke I own. But he is still Slowpoke, and I love him.
Part of the Taffeta UFO series, what this means is that he is made of parachute-like material, and that you could only get him in claw machines in 1998. These are rare to come by, and even rarer to get in good condition. Mine had vision problems, since the paint-ish cover over the eyes started to peel. One eye had minimal damage, but the other was missing half his eye, poor thing. I've taken multiple layers of white-out and acrylic to it since then, and he's good as new! Or at least, it isn't noticeable unless you really look.

Grail to many, Bell Plush are enormously rare. Even rarer is Bell Plush still in their box. That's what mine was, until I took it out. A HORRIBLE collectors move, but since I don't plan on selling him anyway... !
As a compromise to myself, if I ever get a hold of Slowbro, I'll keep him in the box.

Bell Plush are interesting because they're so simple. Slowpoke actually got out extremely well, with minimal felt (?) appendages. The little bell on top designates what type they are (in this case, psychic).

I think it's rare for both the US and Japan to share a plush, but caffwin says she bought hers on a japanese site, whereas I bought mine off of ebay with english tags! I was actually unaware that Japan had these at all, since I only found two myself, and both were english. Go figure!
I have seen exactly three of these. Caffwin and I have two of them, and gogoicarus has the third. This one is rare! It's so cute though, and so wonderful to touch.

Apparently on the more common side offline, I thought this was a reversible pokéball for a while. Someone told me that they had seen a mobile constructed entirely of these guys while they were in Japan, and the thought of it amazes me and I want to do that too. I just need to find more of these!
